Michigan football aiming to flip a 4-star WR from SEC program

Jerome Myles is one of the top wide receivers in the 2025 class. He’s 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, and ranked No. 317 overall according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He’s also committed to Ole Miss, but as of this weekend, has an offer to play for Michigan football.

Myles is from Draper, Utah, and committed to Ole Miss a few weeks ago. Utah was also in the mix but the way Michigan football has had success landing players from the Mountain West region, this feels like a smart offer.

Jerome Myles is worth trying to flip for Michigan football

The upside is definitely there. Myles might be ranked as the No. 45 wide receiver in the 2025 class in the composite rankings but 247 Sports has him ranked 192 overall in their own rankings. He’s also a dynamic track athlete and just set a Utah state record with a 10.38 in the 100-meter dash.

That’s not that far off from Gaitlin Bair. Bair was incredibly dynamic and wound up signing with Oregon after significant interest from Michigan football. Bair was unique because of his blend of size and speed but Myles offers some of the same qualities and running a 10.38 in the 100 at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds is nuts.

Last season he only played in six games, but averaged over 25 yards per reception. He caught 19 passes for 486 yards and hauled in six touchdowns. He had over 600 yards receiving as a sophomore.

Myles took an official visit to Ole Miss at the end of April and committed right after. He had official visits on the calendar for Utah, Arkansas, and Cal, but it’s unclear if he will take those visits.

Michigan fooball would like to get him on campus. That’s when a flip attempt starts to feel reel. Now, the Wolverines are just hoping to get into the mix, but after watching Myles run, he’d be a great fit in Ann Arbor.
