Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen has heaped praise on the club's new manager.

Oliver Glasner took over from veteran Roy Hodgson midway through the season, with Palace in relegation trouble.

They have since moved clear of that position and are one of the form teams in the Premier League.

Asked about the club's trajectory, Andersen told The Standard: In periods, this season has been stressful, but I've been used to that for a long time now."

On the first few months of the season, he added: I think we started quite well, but then a long period with not so good results.

The last few months have been really nice. Right from the first game with the new gaffer, you could see the change. We're playing some fantastic football and getting the results."

The style of play he wants fits the type of players we've got, which is really important," added the Dane.

We have some incredible players, but we can still get much better than this."
