Seth Jones is scoring at a point-per-game pace at the 2024 IIHF World Championship . The Chicago Blackhawks' top defenseman recorded his fourth assist in as many games as Team USA topped France 5-0 on Thursday.
After two days off, the Americans came out firing against France. In the opening minute, Jones corralled the puck at the right point and fired it into a maze of players. Matt Boldy gained control and fed a driving Brock Nelson, who deposited a wrist shot into the net to send Team USA off to the races.

Jones tallied six shots and a +2 rating in 19:57 of ice time. His Blackhawks teammate, Alex Vlasic, logged one shot and a +1 rating in 17:30 of ice time as the Americans notched a bounce-back win. Vlasic has one assist in four games to begin the 2024 IIHF Worlds.
Jones, Vlasic, and Team USA return to action Friday when they face Poland at 1:20 PM CT.
