Saints 2024 schedule with predictions for each game: The offense takes strides under new OC Klint Kubiak
© Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports

The New Orleans Saints' 2024 schedule is here, which gives us an official road map to the regular season.

So, naturally, that means it's time to make some way-too-early predictions regarding the entire 17-game schedule.

Let's get right to it and have some fun predicting how the Bengals manage their 2024 schedule.

Sep. 8 - Week 1: vs. Carolina Panthers

Saints win 24-10: The Saints get off to a strong start with a convincing win against a basement-dweller in the NFC.

Saints' record after Week 1: 1-0

Sep. 15 - Week 2: at Dallas Cowboys

Saints win 27-24: New Orleans wins a shootout in Klint Kubiak's first major test as their new offensive coordinator.

Saints' record after Week 2: 2-0

Sep. 22 - Week 3: vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Saints lose 28-20: The Saints' struggles against mobile QBs continue, and Jalen Hurts leads Philly to a win.

Saints' record after Week 3: 2-1

Sep. 29 - Week 4: at Atlanta Falcons

Saints lose 24-21: The Saints fall to Kirk Cousins in his first game for Atlanta against New Orleans. Plenty of emotion in the matchup, though.

Saints' record after Week 4: 2-2

Oct. 7 - Week 5: at Kansas City Chiefs (Monday Night Football)

Saints lose 28-17: The Saints fall to Patrick Mahomes and the back-to-back Super Bowl champions.

Saints' record after Week 5: 2-3

Oct. 13 - Week 6: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Saints lose 28-24: New Orleans falls at home against the Bucs, setting up a massive game in Week 18.

Saints' record after Week 6: 2-4

Oct. 17 - Week 7: vs. Denver Broncos (Thursday Night Football)

Saints win 27-14: The Saints win the revenge game for Sean Payton due to a massive talent gap. Don't sleep on an early trick play by Payton to try to get a quick laugh against his former team, though.

Saints' record after Week 7: 3-4

Oct. 27 - Week 8: at Los Angeles Chargers

Saints win 24-17: The smothering defense of the Saints makes enough plays to spoil Jim Harbaugh's first matchup with them in his return to the NFL.

Saints' record after Week 8: 4-4

Nov. 3 - Week 9 : at Carolina Panthers

Saints win 31-14: The Saints take care of business against Carolina and go 2-0 against them once again.

Saints' record after Week 9: 5-4

Nov. 10 - Week 10: vs. Atlanta Falcons

Saints win 28-27: New Orleans bounces back from their close loss to ATL from earlier in the year. They stay hot to grab the division lead.

Saints' record after Week 10: 6-4

Nov. 17 - Week 11: vs. Cleveland Browns

Saints lose 17-13: A game that the Saints are predicted to win entering their bye week? Yes. They fall on their face after beating the Falcons a week before in an emotional game? Yes.

Saints' record after Week 11: 6-5

Nov. 24 - Week 12: Bye Week

Saints' record at the Bye Week 10: 6-5

Dec. 1 - Week 13: vs. Los Angeles Rams

Saints lose 31-28: New Orleans loses a shootout to Sean McVay once again. Last year, the Saints had an awful first half against LA, and their second half comeback fell short. I expect this game to be competitive, but they don't get it done.

Saints' record after Week 13: 6-6

Dec. 8 - Week 14: at New York Giants

Saints win 24-10: The Saints defense stymies a below average Giants offense in a game that not many people will want to watch.

Saints' record after Week 14: 7-6

Dec. 15 - Week 15: vs. Washington Commanders

Saints win 35-17: The Saints take care of business against two NFC East foes in a row. Jayden Daniels will return to the state with plenty of fans dawning Saints colors, though.

Saints' record after Week 15: 8-6

Dec. 23 - Week 16 : at Green Bay Packers (Monday Night Football)

Saints lose 24-20: The black and gold fall just short at getting revenge from last season. Their game against GB in 2023 was a major one in terms of their playoff chances, and they come up just short again against a solid and well-coached Packers squad.

Saints' record after Week 16: 8-7

Dec. 29 - Week 17: vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Saints win 31-14: New Orleans should be favored in this game against one of the least-talented rosters in the AFC. This is one of the few games that I expect the Saints to dominate.

Saints' record after Week 17: 9-7

Jan. 4 or 5 - Week 18: at Tampa Bay Bucs

Saints win 21-17: The Saints win a battle with a division rival to ensure they grab double-digit wins. Their victory ends the Bucs' chance at a postseason berth.

Saints' record after Week 16: 10-7

Final Record: 10-7

The Saints could win the NFC South crown with ten wins. It will be intriguing to see how much the Falcons improve with Kirk Cousins at quarterback. The Bucs' roster is similar to 2023, so it's fair to expect that they will be somewhere around .500 once again, too.

The Saints must stay afloat with a tough first month of the season and finish strong against a rather "soft" final handful of games, comparatively, if they want to return to the postseason.
