The Chicago Blackhawks are once again in the headline news for reasons everyone wished never begun in the first place. This time, the most concerning aspect is the timeline. It was in 2021, that the 2010 Chicago Blackhawks investigations were kicking-off. This is a very concerning event to have occurred, and making the future better for it is the universal goal.

More Difficult News for the Chicago Blackhawks Organization

Rick Westhead  reports that today’s report stems from 2022. The Blackhawks organization had hired a woman in the position of team relationships with the Native American community. She is accusing a Blackhawks organization employee of sexual harassment. Furthermore, this is horrible news, and hopefully everyone involved is getting the support they need.

The Chicago Blackhawks Need to Hit Rock Bottom

The Chicago Blackhawks has been through a dark time for some time. However, since Kyle Davidson, the Chicago Blackhawks General Manager, started his role in March 2022, there has been a culture shift within the Blackhawks organization. Hopefully this is the beginning of a new feel around the organization. Connor Bedard didn’t ask to grow in this type of environment. He is perhaps one of the top-five generation prospects going back to Crosby’s beginning. Therefore, he deserves a clean slate from these unfortunate circumstances. The organization owes it to him. And they owe it to hockey. Basically, the city needs to rally behind the team, knowing all too well that this about healing in the future.

Going back to Davidson, and his approach to help with the culture shift. The team has been more involved in the community. Just being more of a presence, and that builds the relationship stronger for everyone. Also, he has brought in a genuine veteran presence. Nick Foligno and Taylor Hall are two of the nicest figures from their Canadian roots. This is what the team looks to bring to community going forward.
