It’s always a good day when the White Sox are providing positive news on the injury front.
This afternoon, multiple sources reported some positive news about four White Sox players:

Elvis Andrus will need a rehab assignment and it probably won’t be until next week.
Yes, Jake Burger is taking ground balls at second base. Grifol sounded open to it on an occasional basis

No. 3 #WhiteSox prospect Bryan Ramos has been added to the Single-A Kannapolis roster to begin a rehab assignment.

Ramos hasn't played in 2023 due to a groin injury. He hit .266/.338/.455 with 22 homers at High-A and Double-A last season. https://t.co/RuOYXTzSx1
Jimenez has been on the IL for the past few weeks after his appendectomy. Before the injury, he was hitting .258/.321/.423 in 106 plate appearances, though had appeared to be turning it on over his last few games. He will be playing right field during his rehab assignment, and given that it’s nearly impossible to take Jake Burger out of the lineup right now, it’s rather likely that Jimenez will receive plenty of time in the outfield over the coming weeks.
Hendriks is continuing his road back from beating Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma over the offseason. In six rehab appearances with Charlotte, Hendriks has struggled a bit in regaining his old ways, giving up six runs in five innings of work, including three home runs. The right-hander also threw live BP last Friday, so the team is likely getting closer to making a decision about his return.
Ramos, 21, is a consensus top prospect for the White Sox after his performances over the past few seasons. The third baseman hit .266/.338/.455 between Winston-Salem and Birmingham last season, and is likely to start the year back in Double-A again.

The team has still not given much of an update on Colson Montgomery, who is still recovering from a mid-back strain.
