Rashard Lewis has his focus on his health
Rashard Lewis' salary follows him around wherever he goes.
The maximum contract Lewis received from the Magic in the summer of 2007 has been an albatross hanging around his neck, forcing higher expectations on him and an impact his role could not produce. The Magic asked him to be more of a spot-up shooter and floor spacer in their 1-in, 4-out offense centered around Dwight...

Who is #42 On The Washington Bullets?
Our friends over at Total Sports Blog captured this picture of a random Washington Bullets fan rocking a throwback #42 jersey and set it our way. There are few Wizards/Bullets fans out there so I’m not surprised that this person is old, hobbled, and afraid to show her face. I wouldn’t want to be recognized as a Washington fan either.
The real meat to this story is whose...

The Mystery of the 2012-2013 Coach
Well, here goes another coaching post about the Washington Wizards. I've stated before that I believe Randy Wittman should come back. But today, I'm going to play devil's advocate and wonder what happens if he doesn't.
Mike D'antoni? No thanks.
Stan Van Gundy? Nope, I'm good.
These marquee names that might become available for the Wizards are not what...

Olympics May Force John to Hit a "Wall"
I get it, The Wizards are pushing for their star point guard and #1 overall pick John Wall to replace Derrick Rose on the Olympic Roster in this summer's games that are taking place in London. It makes sense if you're Ted Leonsis and the Wizards Brain trust. Getting any kind of national exposure is great, but if you can market your superstar in an international competition...

Team president Ernie Grunfeld called this the second year of a three-year plan for the Washington Wizards franchise. What Now?
With the season over and the NBA Playoffs moving ahead without the Washington Wizards, what should the team do now?
They’ve got to evaluate some of these ten-day contracts. With Cartier Martin, James Singleton and Morris Almond still on the roster, the front office has to determine if any of these players are valuable pieces for their rebuild.
I’m a huge fan of Cartier Martin...

Of course Andray Blatche is throwing a ‘Grand Finale’ party
It shouldn’t surprise you that Andray Blatche is throwing a “Grand Finale” party after the Wizard’s season finale on Thursday. A game that he won’t be playing in might we add. This man has challenged his Twitter followers to a fight, hosted “Lapdance Tuesday, wore Uggs, and whined openly about being booed. So there is just no way that this man would ever pass an opportunity...

How about over $500 million?

Video: Nick Young totally whiffs on layup
In the second quarter of the Washington Wizards’ upset of the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night, Nick Young may have attempted one of the worst layups in the NBA. Down by seven at the time, Wizards rookie Shelvin Mack started a fast break by finding Nick Young with the outlet pass. It looked like an easy two points for Nick Young but he inexplicably threw the ball over...
