LIST: D-Man's top 100 favorite athletes

Don't pay too much attention to the order. It would take me all day if I wanted to truly order from 1-100 my favorite athletes ever, and even then I would never be happy with the result. But Cal, Ray and Gary are definitely on top.

I think your co-worker would put Brian Roberts at #1. He won't shut up about him.

B-Roberts. Gotta love that guy.

Good list D-Man, no love for John Elway, TD, or Albert Pujols?........now when you say Adam Jones, which one do you mean/

I did that on purpose with Adam Jones. It's both of 'em. So I guess it's 101 athletes. I can't give any love to Elway because he hated on Baltimore back in the day. The same way Eli wouldn't play in San Diego, Elway wouldn't play in Baltimore for the Colts.

ok yeah, that makes sense, forgot about that for a second

but yeah, love for both Adam Jones' is the way too go

Dewey gives no love to Elway for the same reason I say cross the Goose off your list! lol!

Joey Chestnut gettin the nod at #75 - Nice, 21 positions ahead of MJ.......LOL

Yesssir. Gotta give it up for Joey.

Nice job including Stokke

Randy Foye who suffers from a strange disorder called situs inversus, which i had never heard of until today.
it means his organs are arranged as the mirror image of a normal person's: for example, his heart is in the right side of his chest rather than the left

Randy Foye was a beast in college. Too bad his knee keeps tricking out on him. I think he still could be a great NBA player. Gotta get him out of Minny, though.

my cat is like that.

I know a cat named Randy Foye. Honestly.

it's like the freaking twilight zone up in here.

One year of Tim Thomas not enough to crack your top 100?

It's tough for me to cite work ethic as an excuse considering I've got Coleman on my list.

Dc is an a$$hole son. I met him outside a club in Charlotte where he and his homeboys decided to degrade a homeless man in front of about 2oo people. Ever since then I have always considered the guy a douche. But I imagine you have him on here for his great b-ball ability...er, championship rings...no that can't be it, I am a little confused how this scumbag could be.., oh maybe it was the British Knights he was pushing in the early nineties. Were you rocking those D?

I'm guessing you're not old enough to have seen DC play college ball.

ACtually yeah, but how good he was in college should not waarant a spot ahead of MJ. Plus the guy is an ass.

It's a list of "my" favorite athletes. I grew up idolizing DC. That's pretty much it.

I mean warrant

Hey man it is your list no doubt I was just commenting on it. Who is to say, probably one of my favorite athletes is an a$$hole too. So no offense. (BKs did suck though)

BK's were weak back then, but they would be cool to own now. DC is a total loser these days, but what did I know, I was eight years old. Maybe nine.

I hear ya, man. If you can find a pair that aren't worn to hell, maybe. I tell you what D, you get a pair of those and I will get the L.A. Gear's that light up in the back when you walk, and we will bring them back together. Aiiight. And as far as you being nine not knowing any better that he was a Di*k, I would still take him off "my" list.

Where is Ovie?!?!?!

Sherman Douglas at 13? That is hilarious. Where's Billy Owens?

fly he's at #21

"D", Being a Syracuse guy, I'll tell you the Gaites' Brothers were HUGH. I also like all your SU picks, but was wondering where Jim Brown, Ernie Davis and Earl "The Pearl" were?

Also just a question on McFadden, why did you rank him so high on the list over some other very talented people on a very good list?

Lastly, your Ravens list is great too, but no love for the GOOSE or Trent Dilfer, they were part of our Super Bowl you know, at least honorable mention is warranted don't you think, LOL...

Great list man, good one on the Adam Jones pick.

I'm liking the Randy Foye, Dewey. But I believe I saw somewhere up higher that you want him out of Minnesota? And, no, I didn't want to use the reply button. Back to the matter at hand. Don't you be puttin' that evil on me, Dewey. Randy needs to stay here. He is an integral part of our young nucleus and no one may take him away.
