Billy Packer finally leaves CBS

No more off topic comments or wildly inaccurate statements from Billy Packer will plague the NCAA Tourney on CBS anymore because the two have parted ways after 27 interesting years. Packer will be replaced by Clark Kellogg, who is an excellent studio guy but unproven as a broadcaster. Kellogg will join Jim Nantz on the first team, and it has been rumored that CBS is pursuing ESPN's Greg Anthony to replace Kellogg in the studio.

Packer being released is a good move that has been expected for the past couple of seasons, its good to see that they finally pulled the trigger. Even though it's a good move, watching the tourney without Packer will be a little weird.
