How sweet it was when a stadium full of filly fans had to shut the hell up.....music to my ears.

About 1/10th as sweet as it was when Cliff Lee himself completely shut down the Yankees in their brand new stadium in game 1 I would say...

And I agree apollo, I have said that all along. Lee pitched one for the ages, he was unhittable.

Wonder how much the Boss paid the officiating crew for that replay deal? Its always something fluky when the Yank-offs are involved.

That's weak wheel, I'm surprised at you. Normally you debate intelligently. Allow me to quote Charley Manuel on Andy Pettite: "Andy Pettitte, he's a lot like anybody else who ages — his stuff is kind of starting to dwindle down." He also is credited with this little gem: "I've seen him pitch on TV a lot, and I've definitely seen him pitch against our Cleveland team (where Manuel used to manage). We used to have some pretty good success against him, and I think we are ready for him." So c'mon man, Pettite schooled the Phillies just like Cliff Lee took it to us in game one.

Hey, they are beating Philly. I ain't bitchin'!!!!!
  • kristinmasyn
    doubt it!
  • I'm seriously worried as a Philly fan at this point. I just don't see how you choose Blanton to start game 4. The Yankees rock him and he is going against CC. 3-1 would be very tough to come back from. I think Lee will give us game 5 but we needed either game 3 or 4 to put us in the position to win this thing.

Thanks Wheel, I can handle it! I was rooting for your Hawks yesterday, do you now hate Dallas as much as I do? (I hope this doesn't appear twice, having computer problems!)

I hate the yankees,I'd rather see the mets in the world series, but i want the phillies to win,and i hate A-Rod too.

I only rub salt if it's earned. I always choose to take the high road and not call people names on here. When people do that, it shows a lack of maturity and they have no other way to get their point across. And I'll say this also, I could care less what anyone on here thinks of me.
