Jon Lester throws 2nd Red Sox no-hitter in 2 years
Wow. I could definitely get used to this. Last year Clay Buchholz threw a no-hitter in Fenway Park against the Baltimore Orioles. Tonight Jon Lester threw a no-hitter at Fenway Park against the Kansas City Royals. It took him 130 pitches but he did it.
Jon Lester has beat cancer, won a World Series, and thrown a no-hitter all by the age of 24. Congrats man, you deserve it all. The Red Sox are now owners of 4 of the last 6 no-hitters thrown in the American League ( Hideo Nomo, Derek Lowe, Clay Buchholz, and Jon Lester.)
