By Natalia Baage September 21, 2009Following Frank Trigg's TKO loss to Josh Koscheck this past weekend at UFC 103, Dana White is likely to terminate Trigg's contract with the organization.
Trigg's fight at UFC 103 marked his first fight back into the Octagon after he had been away for more than four years. But after his loss to Koscheck, White looks to have changed his mind about the welterweight fighter.
White told MMAJunkie.com that Trigg probably will not get another fight in the Octagon, and that he possibly will not even give it any more thought.
"These [other] guys are young and explosive," White said. "There's just a whole other level of talent out there, man, that's the way it works. That's the way this business is."
The decision has not been made official, and as of today, Trigg has only heard rumors.

and this is a surprise to who.. man i know this was coming. Everyone is a bit over the hill in MMArtist years are trying to come back Trigg, even Miletich but they fail to realize times has changed. Training methods were different now in comparison to when a Trigg started.. Now we have people saying i want to a mixed martial artist and their training, and dieting are correct from the beginning. Where as with older MMA fighters they spent years and years to become a decent fighter.

I know that he is a big fan of Rich Franklin—and justifiably so. Nonetheless, Vitor Belfort's three-minute blitzkrieg of the former middleweight champion had to make Dana White sit just a bit more comfortably in his Octagonside seat on Saturday night.
