My Week

This past week has been pretty lazy for me. I have been sick. I haven't worked out or ran. I've done nothing except sleep. I think its a cold that I got. It's def not the flu or strep throat. I heard that answer like 100 times for people who think they are doctors. This week was not a good one to be sick. My brother was here for his spring break, and my mom and my dad came and visited me to help me decided on this new place that I want to buy. I somehow managed to get a lot done even with the sickness. I also managed to sleep a whole lot. I even missed a game I was so sick. Today was the first time I was really with the team. I went to the game and we lost and Joel got hurt. The injury is going to end his season. I hope everything goes alright with his hand.

Oh that game. What a tease, we got within four and I really believed we could run away with the win. Oh well, we'll get them next season for sure!

Hope you're feeling better, and hopefully Joel has a speedy recovery.

Hey, everyone has low spots Greg. I mean, I feel like sleeping all day when I'm not sick, so I guess you're doin alright.

Yah definitely hoping for Joel to recover quickly. Hope you get back on track quickly after being out for a week...lol I just watched your ESPN commercial....lol are you sure you can pull that hat off? I'm still trying to decide on that one.... ;-)

Joel has just been a damn monster lately, sad because I know he wanted to finish a whole season without injury. Good luck on the new place.

Get well soon Greg. Sad to hear what happened to Joel. He was racking up the boards. I hope he can play like that next season.

You been playing any ball?

Joel has really been one of the few players to show consistency. He really takes pride and shows up all the time. Now that the season is over and the Blazers playoff hopes are over, its time to focus on the draft. Who do you think the Blazers should pick up in this upcoming Draft? Should we trade players to get a better spot? Let me know

I hope you are feeling better. and, i feel so bad for Jeol. he was so close to finishing out the season! can't wait til you play though!!

Did you buy a place in the Met? A friend of ours saw you guys checking it out. We live next door and a lot of our neighbors have moved there. It's a pretty awesome building. You should check out the penthouse at Park Place (#1204). Phil (the owner) just bought one of the penthouses in the Met and is now selling his Park Place penthouse. It looks right over Jamison Square on the SW corner.

It's a pretty good area. Videorama a block away. Jamison Square a block away. Piazza Italia and Cool Moon two blocks away. (BTW, they have your picture next to the Toasted Coconut now). Most folks walk to the games from here.

The other building you should check out is the Casey. They have a huge west-facing penthouse that has two terraces.

Now everyone's gonna know where he lives!

Oops. I guess being a celebrity might require some discretion. As long as it's a penthouse, though, GO should be good. That building is pretty secure. There's a concierge there 24/7 and card key access on the elevators to the PH that keeps random people away. A very distinguished, retired Trailblazer lives there already.

I'm just giving you a hard time. I'm sure the biggest problem he would have is having to fend off all the ladies trying to get inside :-p lol.

You should check out the Shoug across the river!

Greg, I miss you, come home soon and see somebody! I mean "HELLO" Love ya Sweetie!

Everyone has thos days,unfortunately
Best of luck!

Sick? Get on the floor and practice.

I'm not going to pretend to be a doctor either.. But you might have sinus infection.. I have it now, nasty shit. It doesn't really have any terribly bad effects, but it still sucks- and doesn't seem to go away.

Anyway, I hope you get over your cold thing, and I cannot wait to see you guys tear up the West next year.

If you are looking in the Pearl, a word of advice: It is an incredible place to live, but the west facing units are really hot in the Summer with the sun coming in. One of the best views is from The Edge loft units. Good luck, feel better, and good luck to you and your team.

Hey Greg!! This is for you...check it out!!!

Greg, I'm sure you get tired of it but I'm gonna be the MOM here. I want you to start washing your hands every chance you get. Wash your hands after shaking hands with people, going to the ATM, pushing a grocery cart, holding on to a handrail. Other peoples hands are the enemy (you don't know what they've touched before touching you) and so is everything they touch, if you don't wash your own hands. Sinks and soap aren't always available so get yourself some of those antibiotic hand wipes. I haven't had a cold, the flu or a flue shot for 7 years and believe me I'm around a lot of people. But I wash my hands a lot. Please try it so I don't have to fret about you catching cold.

hey dude when will you have some time to get together with me and blackjack 21 and kick some butt playing rock band game

Yeah hopefully Prizbilla the Gorrilla will get better soon... we could have had that game to against san antonio we where close.... your cold or watever will problably go away soon....

GO, you should get a place like this

Hey, Greg! Liked your helmet at the Laker game. Have fun this year. Next year it will be blood and bruises. On the other teams guys!

Oh, I forgot to second the post by annyfanny. Such a simple thing to do - washing your hands, but it does keep the colds away. Follow her advice!!!!!

Greg,
Nice to see you at the Lakers game last night. You looked pretty healthy to me. And it was great to see our team take it to the Lakers. Next year we will absolutely own them, with you out there.
Mark

Four games and a beautiful Oregon summer. I hope that the fans enjoy this early pre summer break becasue it will be years before Oden's Blazers will be able to enjoy a basketball free May and June. Looking forward to next year more than any year since the 1970 season. Get well and work hard (yes, I know "the hill).

Funny a comment said it might be a sinus infection. My mom said I never seemed to lose this cough for years when I was in high school, then I find out I had a sinus infection. I still don't think the antibiotics worked. My breathing is always messed up now days, I think I'll go back to the doctor.

Greg, I have been a Blazers fan all of my life. I've been lucky enough to watch every game this season and can't wait to watch next year's team with you and Rudy. I jumped so high off the couch when the lottery was held because I knew you were coming our way. But anyway-you remember the article you wrote here at the beginning of the season announcing your injury? I was the guy that said I was in a band and we dedicated a song to your knee. Well, I just came back from an MRI - I tore my ACL! It's just kinda hanging there! I gotta have reconstructive surgery. I just wanted to say that your hard work is inspirational to me and although it's silly I'm actually kinda scared. If you got any advice, let me know! My e-mail address is master_guitar_ninja@yahoo.com

Hey Greg, hope things are going well. I just wanted to tell you that I am going to try and be apart of Oregon Mentors next fall. I was moved by your commitment to it and decided to join myself considering that I want to be a teacher. Also I ran into your friend Russel, he is friends with my friend Al. He seems like a pretty cool guy, he works with the team, I hope that rings a bell, I forget his last name. He had nothing but good things to say about you. Take care bud.
