While me and my buddy Chris are still planning to purchase an NBA team - I'm thinking the Hawks - the finances aren't quite there yet. But for us middle class chumps with mad hoops-ownership dreams, ownmyteam.com gives us a chance to own part of a team for $70.
Of course, the team will be an IBL team, and it's a monthly fee, and you don't get any return on your investment, but it's still kinda cool to say you'll own a part of a team. You can vote on team issues including hiring coaches, team colors and whatnot - which could be a logistical nightmare.
