Starting to hit that home stretch

The NBA season at least for us is coming to end, we have a little over a month left. I hope to end this season on a good note and play well down the stretch. We have a game against the Bulls tomorrow night so hopefully we can get a win on the road which hasn't happend in a while. I think overrall I've had a solid rookie year, just ready to get back and work on my game this summer. Any questions just leave a comment and I will answer over the next day or so while I'm in Chicago.

You really have had a solid rookie year. You looked comfortable out on the court all season long and you were just all around very impressive. It's so crazy, this season seems like it's gone by so fast. Good luck up in Chicago tomorrow night.

good luck to you - especially for a win tomorrow. i hope you do well in this last stretch of the season - you have had a solid rookie year. i've got high hopes to see you do great things in the future.

You got a bright future Mike. Hope you guys can finish strong this year and come out better next year. Look forward.

Hey Mike I was wondering, have you ever crossed Greg Oden in practice or pick up game?

I'm pretty sure I have, Greg doesn't like to guard on the perimeter to much.

Mike, given the situation the Grizzlies are in, how difficult is it to stay focussed and finish the season on a high note ?

Not very difficult for me, I'm a rookie. If it was up to me I would play 45 mpg ,if we're up 20 or down 20. I want to prove myself at this level.

MIke you have been doing great all year. just keep playing the way you are and enjoy the last month of you rookie year!

Hey Mike, just wondering how do you like Memphis? How often do you and Greg Oden hang out? I created you on NBA live 2008 and your a beast. Peace

Memphis is cool. The last time I hung out with Greg was our last game in Portland.

Where are you going to spend your off season? Will you be back in Indy working out?

Probably working out and going back and forth between Memphis, Columbus, and Indy.

Mike, what are ur reactions after never really losing in high school, then losing only 4 games in college and making a national championship, and then going to a Memphis team that is selling guys like Pau Gasol for 30 cents on the dollar.... uve probably lost more games this year than you have in the past 5 years of your life..... is it tough always being a winner, then having to come play for a losing team?

I've lost more games this year than I have my entire life combined. I feel bad for the vets on the team though, its a tough situation for them. Personally I always play to win the games its just without Pau we have to play perfect just to have any chance of winning.

what would you like to see the Grizzlies management do in the offseason to improve the team?

Don't know really, we just need to be able to grow together as a team. It's tough to learn from each other when we add/lose players as often as we did this year either through injury/trade/cut.

Do you have any plans to return to THE Ohio State University at all during the summer?

yes

hey mike, maybe you should try to lose out. RUDY BEASLEY AND CONLEY. that might be a force for years too come

Sorry, I don't like to lose at anything as Herm Edwards would say "you play to win the game!"

where do you plan on working out this summer? are you gonna match up with some NBA greats?

I will probably be at Ohio State.

Do you think you would be getting more playing time? I need you for two more months on my fantasy and I'm losing in assists. Please help me. :(

Mike, do NBA players, like yourself watch Sportcenter after the game or in the morning to see how other NBA players are doing kindof like a casual NBA fan? Love watching you play!

I mostly keep up with the NBA over the internet, I will often check up on what my friends are doing.

Whose your pick to win the March Madness and the NBA finals? Do you like the last two moves Boston made to aqquire P.J. Brown and Sam Cassell for their playoff run?

Its really a toss up on the NBA Finals, I would guess Spurs or Lakers. March Madness is a toss up as well.

Oh and when you guys were in Washington on like the 23rd of January did you see Casey Jacobsen and Andre Brown up on the jumbotron during the kissing contest thing? Did they say anything about it?

no comment.....heh

Mike, what are your thoughts about what happened to this years OSU bball team?

I wasn't able to watch as many games as I would have liked too, seems they just had a rough stretch.

MC... I am a die hard Buckeye fan and am excited to see how well you have done this season. I will be following your career and rooting for you. This year's Buckeye team sure misses you and we sure wish you could have been around for another year. Have you heard anything about why the current Buckeyes are struggling? Good luck the rest of the season.

Not really sure why they are struggling.

what are you going to try and work on the most during the summer? or possibly develop a new skill set as well? I think if you could nail floaters like tony parker all day long you could have a HUGE season next year. good luck!

Work on my mid range game and get my weight up to 185lb. I weighed more when I started at OSU (185) than I have my first year in the league.

Which part of your game are you focusing on developing the most over the summer?

Hey Whats up mike. Im from Indianapolis and i graduated from North Central in the 06 class and i have watched you play at LN all of those years. As much as i hated you just because you played for LN i have always liked you a lot as a player and always knew you were the backbone and the reason LN was good. I was just wondering if you are going to come back and live in Indy over the offseason and what has been the best part of your rookie year? I always check up to see how you do because it's exciting to see somebody who i watched so many games play in high school playing in the NBA and i knew you would make it. I wish you could come play for the pacers. It seems like this NBA year has gone by so quick. Maybe you and Greg should request a trade and Mcroberts so you can come back to Indy and then the pacers draft EJ so it's a hometown team and your old AAU team basically

Being able to play against the best in the world, 2 years ago I was in HS, now I'm playing in front of a sell out crowd against KG and the Celtics.

Last year watching you at this time was amazing. I picked OSU to win the tourney last year only because of you and Greg. You guys were AWESOME. How does it feel your season for the first time ever is ending earlier then your used to? In high school, you played far in the playoffs, in college you played in the championship. But now you have to re-build a franchise and your the man to do it.

It's tough

I am glad you're a Grizzly! I wish we had Greg too! But if the Grizzlies could get Magette from the Clippers
and/or maybe someone like Dwight Howard we might stand a chance. Right now we're just wearing out the great players we have. Keep your head up. You can only do so much. Ask Mike Miller

Keep up the good work young stud hope to see you matched up against the blazers in the playoffs in the future

Keep up the good work Mike. I cant wait to play ya next year man.

tell him greg we will stomp the grizzlies next year!

ay keep doing what your doing mike and greg rest up bro looking forward to seeing you guys be an impact for years to come

Hey Mike, what part of your game do you think you need work on?

Hey Mike, what do you think od Greg's Mohawk?

It's terrible.

Mike, do u think ur starting to hit the "rookie wall?".... it happens to most rookies since ur not used to playin 82 games... whats ur thoughts on this?

Sorta, but I think I will get over that hump.
