Desean Jackson: You Are an IDIOT! Video of his Premature Fumbl-itis

When did I ever think that Leon Lett would look smart?! Well after the Philadelphia Eagle's Desean Jackson celebrated his 'touchdown' before reaching the endzone...What an idiot! Tony Kornheiser immediately proclaimed it the stupidest celebration ever. Hey - at least Leon Lett was *holding* the ball!!

Desean Jackson vs. The Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Why didn't Pacman Jones pick up the ball?!

Amazing video.

Can't wait for the Philly fans to start commenting and explaining why this wasn't a stupid play... bring it on PhILLY!

no it was stupid, the only thing that lessened the sting was that we kept the ball and scored afterwards... but it was still stupid

one of the few, the proud...your a good dude and fan Peags

thanks. you too

well, not today it appears

Oh no, Eagles fans are adamant in saying that this was stupid. He gets off the hook (only a slight tiny bit) because Westbrook scored on the next play. I guarantee Jackson holds on to the ball all the way home next time he scores.

no kidding...so true Rankible

listn yea that was a stupid play and belive my were dgoing to let hiom here abou it. We had yo guy beat. We beat ourselves. PREIOD. I call it like I see itWe beat ourselves....PS... J---O

Bad move for the rookie, and the SOB cost me 6 points

Yes, I agree it was a very stupid rookie mistake. But, at least he didn't do it in the Super Bowl.

Moron rookie. Another NFL player gets his just deserts.

At least they scored

I'm mad they did! Would've been even better if Cowboys had a goal line stand

He's not an idiot but merely a rookie!!!

is it an nfl rule only that you have to cross the goal line WITH the ball? no, he's known it ever since he started playing football. so i don't think that "merely a rookie" quite explains it.

i'm not even sure the tip of the ball didnt cross.... never got a good angle.... certainly not enough of an angle to reverse the on-field call.... either way he was wide open for an easy TD.... why would dallas or the refs wanna take that one back..... give up the much deserved TD w class

people need to relax.. he was about to score his first touchdown in his career in a HUGE game and was running faster than everyone on that field.. was it premature yes, but i know i was half the country away and was jumping thru the ceiling

I agree this is his FIRST Monday Night game in his career.....His Second week of 100 plus yards receiving....yeah it was a dumb move but it worked out he was just excited I'm sure......wouldn't you be? hell i know if i was in my first Monday night game against a team like Dallas i would be hyped up too......let's look at what jackson has done for our team ALREADY that reggie Clown could not do........C'mon he's gonna do fine we need to support him not bust his balls I'm sure he feels bad enough about it and the team will straighten him out.

The cowboys and Eagles are really two of the best teams in the NFL.

I can't wait to watch them play in the playoffs!!!

To think, if we had Kevin Curtis and Reggie Brown...we might have won...actually, if Mcnabb wouldn't of fumbled we could of won!!

Oh, well....sad loss but the Eagles are great.

I know that fumble was McNabbs, but watch the game. It looked more like a WBrook fumble.
No matter it was a GREAT game, there are many things the EAGLES can do to change next game.

Watch it again. McNabb pulled away form the handoff and then tried getting it back to Bwest. Blame should fall on McNabb for that error. Even so, he played a good game and he's not the reason for the loss. Special teams coverage and defense killed the Eagles. No pressure on Romo? That spells loss all over the field.

Oh no, I never sais that was the reason for the loss. The loss was simply because the EAGLES, though playing a nice game, were out played. The way I saw the play it looked more like a B'West problem, but it is what it is.
Special teams, especially the defense end of that team was pretty piss poor, and our D as a whole was way too tired way too soon. But I think there was pressure on Homo, he did get hit a few times, but still, we should have done better.

Yeah, the Eagles got the pressure on Romo when the Cowboys were backed up next to their own end zone. I would have liked to have seen more of those Johnson blitz packages though. Giving up 34 points on defense is tough to overcome though, no matter who you are.

I can wait, as a life long Eagles fan, been there. I wish McNabb well, but, a physically healthy McNabb is not the issue. Crunch time performance execution at the quarterback position is. You don't have to be healthy to hand off to #36, or line up under center, or throw a 5 yard pass above the ankles at less than 100 mph, or get rid of the ball and avoid a sack ( clock management). It seems at crucial times in a game, the pressure clouds his ability to execute success. He has been here what, 9 years now. Good job for most of the game, but once again, crunch time, he gets crunched.

We may take some bashing for this, but I agree with you. The EAGLES as a team, with McNabb, have always had a hard time on both sides of a 2 minute drill.

looked like mcnabb was thinking play action, then he realized he was supposed to hand it off and that hesitation cost them.

look we scored on the play so it dont matter...if it was a turnover yeah..but remember the play by burress his rookie year for the steelers...caught a first down and spiked the ball without being touched on the ground....look what hes amounted to haha...well yeah the game was a great one and the eagles gotta protect that ball driving in dallas territory up 3 late...but other than that we looked great and i think we can handle just about any team on our schedule right now

Desean is a monster. He will be beyond great.

This game was a measuring stick game. We found out that the Eagles can keep up with the Boys'!

It wasn't as stupid as McNabb holding on to the ball on third down and taking a sack when they knew they were going to go for it on fourth anyway.

true that
common sense says: you got no one to throw to and a 6-4 252 demarcus ware is flying at you.... GET RID OF THE BALL

YES!!! And he's NOT a rookie.

that wasnt as stupid as mcnabbs fumble! that wasnt a rookie mistake for 5... how do u pump fake a hand off???? retarded!!!! we lost... oh well... see ya in philly

On broadcast said McNabb said, he somehow got distracted by his own teammates.

Ok did anyone not see Tony Romo fumble the ball with no pressure on him, and he fumbled not once but twice in the same play and gave the eagles a touch down. So bump all the haters, the Eagles are still the team to beat, see you cowgirls in Philly!

Two acts of stupidity by two QBs. One wins. It wasn't ours.

The eagles are the team to beat? But they got beat

and no-one is talking Giants either...Philly third in my book in that division

Are you kidding me! Step back from that sandwich fat boy.

That is craziness talking. Yeah, he fumbled but then he regained his composure and lead his team to victory. That is a true pro QB.

ps who CHOKED in playoffs

Mcnabb goes out there plays his but off, he and Westy are the only reason we were able to compete and you guys are giving him crap. He looks better this season then maybe he ever has. He made a couple mistakes in week 2, move on and just be thankful we have him as our QB. As for Desean, his attitude and these kind of actions are the only reason he dropped to us in the second round. He will learn from this and hopefully it never happens again.

Oh boy. Somehow Donovan looking great in a loss isn't helping me forget we lost.

So we've lost one game on the road against everyone's Super Bowl pick and you need dwell on everything we did wrong even though our guys played their hearts out. Our D had a bad game. Jim Johnson will adjust and be prepared for the next time we play just like he did last season.

The problem was that we didn't play the Rams tonight.

you are so negative I am beginning to believe you are from Boston.

the problem is your a crucified burgerking

I have been crucified by Yardbarker. In a few days I will rise again. Stay tuned.

its just dissapointing!!!! they played a great game to screw it up in the end...

It was almost as bad as Romo's fumble in the playoffs
