Cancer-Stricken HS Player Meets Mario & Big Ben, Makes Quip About Pirates
John Challis, the Pennsylvania high school baseball player stricken with terminal cancer, was invited to Sundday's Penguins-Flyers game, where he met Pittsburgh sports stars Mario Lemieux & Ben Roethlisberger. He even had time to make a quick quip about the Pirates' misfortunes.
