Flyers lose 4-2 to Penguins.....again

The Flyers lost Game Two by the same score as they lost Game One, 4-2, but Sunday's contest was a completely different story in terms of effort. In Game One, the Flyers looked flat-footed and played most of the game back on their heels, while in Game Two they showed more of the effort and intensity that we have grown accustomed to seeing in this playoff run. The Flyers simply took too many penalties that allowed the Penguins to get their offense going and couldn't generate enough offense of their own.

The night started off terrible for the Flyers when Braydon Coburn took a puck to the nose and collapsed to the ice.

There were several questionable calls made by the refs throughout the game that went against both teams.

As the Keystone Clash moves across the state, expect the Flyers and their fans to have a lot more to say about this series. Don't count them out yet!!!

All I have to say is the refs have been cheating against the Flyers the whole playoffs. On top of that our best 2 defensmen are out.... Imagine if we had both defensmen, the refs weren't cheating, and Simon Gagne was healthy? we would breeze through the playoffs!!!

I'm still amazed the Flyers made it this far. The Penguins are clearly the better team and we have injuries stacked up against us. Having said that, I would never count these guys out! They have incredible heart.

You guys gotta remember that the Flyers were picked to win it all in the beggining of the season. We outplayed the Penguins last game.

BS powerplay goals...the flyers won that game and the refs cheated them out of it.

I wanna but haven't looked up the stats on this yet, but just watching the games I would love to see how many goals were actually on power plays vs on 5v5.. i swear from washington thru montreal and now pitt it seems that all the goals come from the power play, and a ton of 5 on 3 goals. the two penalties on hatcher last night we absolutly bogus calls, it is still playoff hockey! i know they changed the rules etc etc but neither of them were worthy of a penalty.. fly guys need to show up at home and take care of business to make this a three games series.

Nothing like pulling out the 'we outplayed them last game' card. If that were true, the Flyers would have won the game.

I sure would have liked to see dallas and philly for the stanley cup...the way things r goin it doesn't look like either one will make it to the stanley cup finals tho

funny thing we lost both games 4-2. thats because we're gonna win the series 4-2. what a coincidence.
