An Iowa runner spent almost 17 hours in -15 degree weather in a weekend race in Wisconsin, and all he got for his trouble was a trophy and some frostbitten appendages. The unlucky runner will have amputation surgery on Friday, yet he seems to be staying positive, saying "I can live a good life without toes."
