Mario Moraes completed his second season in the IZOD IndyCar Series and his first with KV Racing Technology. He reviews the year in a narrative for indycar.com. This was a very tough season for me for a lot of reasons. It was just my second season in the IndyCar Series, I was with a new team and there were a lot of things going on in my life outside of racing.    Looking back, I have some great memories from this year. Getting my first podium finish at Chicagoland has to be at the top of my list, and then just missing pole but still being on the front row for the first time at Motegi also is right up there. My first year with KV Racing Technology was a year of learning. I learned more this year than at any time in my racing career. From setting up the race car to analyzing data to being smart on the racetrack, I tried to learn something every day.  I really have to thank Jimmy Vasser, Mark Johnson and all the KVRT engineers for helping me become a better racer.  Click it: Moraes bio...
