After the conclusion of a crazy week, the picture remains as blurry as ever. Two unbeatens (Kansas and South Florida) suffered their first loss of the year and there is a now a clear-cut leader among the one loss teams (USC) after Virginia Tech and Ohio State were knocked off. Halfway through October, the cream is beginning to rise to the top.
