Scalpem:
Lots of people are whining about the 3 days between N.C. State and at Boston College. Same with Clemson on the road following the OU game. My feeling is that it’s really not that awful of a schedule and they have to play what’s dictated anyway. Welcome to the world of ESPN dictating a lot of schedules for TV ratings. If you want TV money, you end up with schedules like this ultimately, especially when it feels like the ACC is penalizing FSU for not playing Miami on Labor Day.
FLORIDA STATE
Sept. 3 LOUISIANA MONROE
Sept. 10 CHARLESTON SOUTHERN
Sept. 17 OKLAHOMA
Sept. 24 at Clemson
Oct. 1 OPEN
Oct. 8 at Wake Forest
Oct. 15 at Duke
Oct. 22 MARYLAND
Oct. 29 NC STATE
Nov. 3 at Boston College (Thursday), ESPN, 8 pm
Nov. 12 MIAMI
Nov. 19 VIRGINIA
Nov. 26 at Florida
Everyone needs to calm down and not panic.
