2011 Pro Bowl in Hawaii Before SBXLV

The NFL announced today that the 2011 Pro Bowl will be played a week before Super Bowl XLV. Which is the same deal as this year. But, it was also announced that the game will return to Aloha Stadium in Honolulu. And that’s where the NFL made their mistake. I understand it’s all about ratings at this point and the 2010 Pro Bowl had a viewership of 12.3 million (40% greater than the year before). So if it really is all about ratings, why fix what isn’t broken?
