Found June 27, 2013 on Waiting For Next Year:
The Cleveland Cavaliers have added Carrick Felix, a 6-foot-6-inch shooting guard out of Arizona State, with the 33rd-overall selection. Felix has drawn comparisons to Andre Iguodala and Jimmy Butler, possessing the versatility and athleticism to play and defend either wing position, runs the floor well and can hit the outside shot. He gets knocked a bit for shot selection and a relative lack of mid-range game. Also not helping Felix’ case is the fact that he will be 23 years old in August. Felix was named All-Pac 12 1st Team All-Conference and All-Defensive during his senior year, averaging 14.6 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. He had 13 double-doubles as a senior after having none over his first two seasons at Arizona St. He will presumably compete for a roster spot, providing depth behind Dion Waiters, CJ Miles and Wayne Ellington at the wing.
