The Fighting Illini football staff completed its summer camp season Saturday with a large turnout of talented prospects. One of the 2014 players was Dorian Hendrix, who already has an Illini offer. The linebacker arrived late but made up for it with his play in drills. He has a strong attraction to the Illini.

The Fighting Illini football team was short of safeties this spring, especially after the top two players were injured. As a result, redshirt sophomore Earnest Thomas was moved from the Star position to help out. He adapted quickly, adding needed depth.
Former Fighting Illini football players have been prominent at Illini summer camps. Some help the UI coach players at the camps. Others like Jason Dulick bring high school players they are coaching to camp to give their kids more training and exposure. Dulick enjoys coaching and remains a loyal Illini.

The Fighting Illini football staff attracted a large number of top underclassmen to their summer camps just concluded. This is a photo gallery of some of the top 2014 prospects who participated, along with three exceptional 2015 prospects. Most if not all will receive multiple scholarship offers before their high school days come to an end.
The Fighting Illini football team received more good news today with the announcement O'Fallon defensive back Darius Mosely has committed to the program. Playing with Team USA in Texas, Mosely chose today to announce because it is his uniform number. His decision now gives the Illini 13 commits for the 2013 class.
