South Dade High School’s senior wide receiver, Tyree Brady, committed to the University of Miami today. It’s a commitment that has been a long time coming as the Hurricane staff simply fell in love with Brady’s play, namely offensive coordinator James Coley. The 6’4-200 pound wide out will provide much needed depth at the wide receiver position for Miami.
Brady has been one of the Hurricanes anticipated commitments for the bulk of the football season since he committed from Kentucky earlier this year. He’s a kid that flew largely under the radar because he spent a year in Texas and then returned to Florida without much film or recognition. Before leaving, he spent some time at Columbus and then ended up at South Dade.
He committed to Miami because he called it his ‘dream school’ and detailed his relationship with the coaching staff to CaneINsider back in August. Brady joins a growing wide receiver class including four-stars Darrell Langham, Braxton Berrios and Trayone Gray of Miami Carol City High. The Canes need the depth as they currently are set to have only one senior wide out on next year’s roster and suffered two departures prior to the fall of 2013 from the previous year’s recruiting class.
