Darcy Gibbs (in photo above) attaches a colorful vinyl graphics panel on an Indy Racing League trailer, and then meticulously works out the air bubbles and cuts openings for doors and windows. OK, one panel complete … 19 to go. Oh, there are six more trailers waiting back at headquarters.
Preparations for the Open Test next week at Barber Motorsports Park - and the start of the season - are in overdrive, and that includes all Indy Racing League vehicles receiving new sponsor-appropriate skins.

Gibbs and other associates at Freelance Imaging, Inc. have been putting final touches on the IZOD IndyCar Series transporters heading to Alabama for the test, using the four-color, full-panel vinyl graphics designed by IZOD parent Philips-Van Heusen and produced at the Indianapolis company.
