Funny how 3 runs scored one night equals a loss and a complete turd of a game, and the next night the same run total equals a win and a well played game. Thanks to Final Vote hopeful Shane Victorino, the Phils took the game in the bottom of the 9th with his rbi single and remained 2 games up in the standings on the Marlins. Vic may not have the best numbers out of the 5 player group (Matt Kemp, Mark Reynolds, Christian Guzman, and Pablo Sandoval), but he sure is fun to watch. Go vote for him now, no questions asked (T-shirt by Birdland/The Fightins).Meanwhile, Rodrigo Lopez left after 5 innings with discomfort in his pitching shoulder. This sucks. He was actually doing a decent job, but now it would seem he's DL bound. Myers DL, Bastardo DL, now possibly RoLo DL. Luckily the Phils don't need an extra starter until after the All-Star break, so they time to figure out what to do. Call up Andrew Carpenter and his 8-2 record with a 2.85 ERA? Nah. Trade for Roy Halladay...
