Arizona State lost to No. 3 Oregon on Thursday night, and it wasn't even close. The Ducks dominated every facet, led by 36 points after 19 minutes of play and left the Sun Devils lost amid injuries and mistakes in a 43-21 blowout.

With last Thursday's humbling loss to Oregon officially in their rearview, the Sun Devils began their weekly preparation for division foe UCLA on Sunday. Despite dropping their first conference game of the season, ASU signal caller, Taylor Kelly, and his teammates remain confident and are eagerly looking for the chance to redeem themselves on Saturday while remaining atop the Pac-12 South.
The Sun Devils’ 43-21 loss to the Ducks naturally didn't produce many positive outcomes. Nonetheless, one if its most coveted recruits, tight end Beau Sandland, who was in attendance for that contest was able to put that defeat in its proper perspective as it relates to his recruitment by ASU.
