5 Ways To Improve The Philadelphia Eagles

Posted December 08, 2012

Murphy's Law "anything that can go wrong will" and that was exactly the case for the 2012 Philadelphia Eagles. Here are my five ways to take this team out of the NFC east basement and back sitting atop the division.

1. Hire John Gruden as the new head football coach. He was the offensive coordinator for the Eagles from 1995-1997 and knows the organization well.

2. Draft Texas A&M OT Luke Joeckel. Move Todd Herremans back to his natural guard position and now you have a promising offensive line for the Eagles if everyone is healthy.

3. Sign WR Gregg Jennings. Move Jeremy Maclin to the slot and now you have a dangerous receiving core.

4. Sign CB Aqib Talib, and re-sign CB Dominique Rodgers Cromartie. Its time to cut ties with Nnamdhi Asomugha who has been a major disappointment.

5. Sign S Dashon Goldson. Nate Allen and Kurt Coleman are not getting the job done.

Eagles current salary cap is at an estimated 21,716,957 heading into the 2013 free agency which gives them some financial wiggle room to do as they please.
