Last night's defeat at the hands of the Washington Nationals was fairly eventful for the Phillies. Starter Joe Blanton saw his long string of quality starts snapped with an 8 ER effort; Jimmy Rollins botched his first play in 86 games (then he did it again); Brad Lidge was allowed to enter the game with a low-stress, comfortable 6-run deficit; and Matt Stairs pulled out of an 0-30 nosedive to hit a monster grand slam. Due in part to some bad bounces, the Phils still lost.
