To preface the below question, we think at TJB that there’s little when discussing the Jets that can be categorized as heresy — asking if Wayne Chrebet was lazy would be an example of something worth burning the offender at the stake — but questions that can be asked, should be. There’s no harm in the asking.
So with that, we want to know, why are the fans at the Meadowlands so dang loud this year? If you watched the Titans game, there were even times when you could see that the fans were loud for the offense in the red zone .. a sign of something being off. It’s not that we don’t love the enthusiasm, we do, but I just want to know what’s gotten fans so rowdy, and why are they screaming when our field is in the red zone? The team had Brett Favre last year which was exciting, no matter where you stood on the issue. The Jets crowd wasn’t causing opponents to take multiple delay of game calls, costing team false starts and the like … so we respectfully ask ..
