In a truly shocking development, the Detroit Lions/St. Louis Lambs battle for NFC whatever-is-the-opposite of supremacy(?) will not be televised in the Motor City.This is the Lions second blacked out game of the 2009 campaign. Detroit fans have been deprived (ok, maybe not the right word) of their Lions football on the tube in a staggering seven of the last 10 home games dating back to last season.
Apparently, the Lions fell a scant 10,000 tickets short of filling up Ford Field for this match up between two teams who've combined for a single win.
In other news, residents of St. Louis have been flooding the phone lines of their local cable providers protesting that they will still be able to tune in.
