From the Let Teddy Win photostream. I was certainly among the least cheerful of Nats observers this season, and I'll blame that on no one but myself. Well, and whoever sewed the Natinals jerseys. And the timekeeper for that giant clock. And Daniel Cabrera. But I still believe in the fundamental goodness of the D.C. sports fan, and with a seven-game season-closing win streak, even the loss numbers weren't that bad. Heck, eight teams in my lifetime have lost more than 205 games in back-to-back seasons. The fans, too, went out with a bang, showing up despite the bad record to watch that season-ending home sweep and that season-ending home walkoff homer. Plus, there were two guys dressed like donkeys in honor of Adam Dunn, and that's certainly the sort of behavior we need to encourage. "A lot of people ask, 'Are you guys Democrats?'
