Middle linebacker David Hawthorne, of Corsicana and TCU, will make his second career start for Seattle on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
Hawthorne will replace hitting-machine Lofa Tatupu with a damaged pectorals muscle. Seattle coach Jim Mora said the club is comfortable with starting Hawthorne but understands what he lacks in comparison to Tatupu.
