Corsicana product to face Dallas Cowboys

Middle linebacker David Hawthorne, of Corsicana and TCU, will make his second career start for Seattle on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Hawthorne will replace hitting-machine Lofa Tatupu with a damaged pectorals muscle. Seattle coach Jim Mora said the club is comfortable with starting Hawthorne but understands what he lacks in comparison to Tatupu. ``David's a guy we have a lot of confidence in,'' Mora said.``He just lacks the experience and the football savvy gained through experience that Lofa has.'' Hawthorne's first start came in a loss at Chicago on Sept. 27. He was credited with a team-high 15 tackles, and the Bears ran for only 85 yards on 28 carries.
