Daniels denies radio report

The Rangers have not hired a hitting coach, according to general manager Jon Daniels and contrary to a report on 105.3 The Fan as well as a newspaper source. The Rangers' flagship station and the source both said that the Rangers had hired Clint Hurdle. "We have not yet offered the job to anyone," Daniels said. "We're finishing up our due diligence.
