You'll be excused if you weren't one of the several dozens who tuned in to watch the Lions ensure that they forever will be the regarded as having the most historically inept team in NFL history (sadly, they won't be able to hand the Buccaneers a victory this season; cross your fingers, Lions fans). But Detroit fans can hold their heads high that one of their players was at least able to inflict maximum destruction on Rams returner Danny Amendola, who was brought very, very low by Lions linebacker Zack Follet on a 4th quarter kickoff. Amendola left the game with a concussion, so that takes some of the joy out of what is a spectacular and clean shot. Still though ... YEE GODS WHAT A HIT! (H/T to Second String Fullback)
