TR.com reported last night around game time that Derek Holland would move to the pen and would most likely stay there until the all-star break, with Dustin Nippert getting the start this Sunday. The plan seemed to materialize, as Holland relieved Nippert in the fourth and pitched two strong innings (1 H, 1 K). Nippert struggled through 3.2 innings, allowing seven hits and a walk but limiting the damage to three runs.
