Dodgers - Acquired Garland

Los Angeles Dodgers - Acquired P Jon Garland from the Arizona Diamondbacks for 2B Tony Abreu. Garland won't go 5-0 in September or throw a no-hitter in the playoffs or send the Dodger infield back in time to create a time loop that confers de facto immortality upon himself, but he should provide quality depth down the stretch for the team. The Dodgers still have Haeger and Padilla, but they're certainly not going to pin their hopes on Haeger until they've seen him more and Chugalug Vinny isn't anything more than a tourniquet.
