By the non-existent hair on their five-, six- and seven-year-old chinny-chin-chins, Toly Hansbrough’s FYF Colts escaped with a hard fought 8-7 (56-49) triple overtime victory over the FYF Falcons in the Instructional League Championship Game on Saturday at Liberty High School in Bealton, VA.Toly’s Colts came out with a fast start scoring three touchdowns in the first quarter. Outside speedster Justin L (#11) scored a touchdown as did signal caller Clay G and all-star utility man J.T. D. The Falcons came roaring back in the second quarter though and scored four touchdowns of their own for a 4-3 halftime lead.Faces were long on the Colts bench as the team had gone two regular seasons without losing a game and had never trailed at intermission. Needless to say coaches Pearson, Pancione, Goff and Martin had a serious chin orientation challenge.
