  i dont have a problem with adding pronger, but i think we gave up to much. We can unload salary and still go after jaybo. Hes not gonna talk a contract til when free agency begins so it would be pointless to trade for em

    ok dumba$$ i didnt say we are gettin him i said we could, meaning its still a possibility. People were complaining about not goin after jaybo. We woulda had to give up a player and a draft pick(maybe a little more) JUST to TALK to him. Jaybos agent said he wont discuss anything til after july 1st free agency. MEaning in free agency any team can make a play for em. Imagine giving up luca sbisa for the rights to talk to jaybo then lose him to free agency? that would even be worse then sending him to anaheim for pronger

    Dude you are a moron. I didnt say they ARE going to unload salary and go after him i said they CAN unload salary and go after him. Also i said IMAGINE giving up sbisa(or jones or somethin) just for the right to talk to him. I didnt say they would of offered sbisa. They could have offered randy jones somethin. Some defenseman just for the right to talk to him. YES WE CAN. They just would have to find somebody to take brieres contract. Calgary gave up Jordan leopold and a 3rd round draft pick for the rights to jaybo. Im not sayin thats exactly what they are doing im just mentioning some possibilities they could for after IF THEY WANT TO!
