Cal quarterback Kevin Riley, who was helped off the field just before halftime after a hard hit, was 19 of 34 for 200 yards and one touchdown, a late 3-yarder to Verran Tucker. Riley had thrown eight TD passes in his previous three games and was leading the conference with 13 TD passes. He had just his third interception of the season Saturday.
