Now this is the Thursday night matchup we’ve all been waiting for.  Well, not all of us.  But those of us who enjoy watching two undefeated teams battle in primetime.  5 things for the Cincinnati/USF game…1. Tony Pike is good.  Is B.J. Daniels better?  Passer efficiency ratings seem to think so.  Daniels’ rating of 175.66 is nearly 16 points higher than Pike’s (159.95).  It’s not exactly a perfect comparison though.  Pike has attempted 174 passes to only 56 by the man attempting to salvage the Bulls’ season after USF lost senior signal caller Matt Grothe.  Daniels loses out in the completion percentage battle, but makes up for it in yards per attempt with a mind-numbing 10.75 (if Daniels qualified, that would be tops in the nation).  Pike is the better quarterback, but Daniels is the better athlete, able to move the ball with his feet as well.  This game could come down to the QBs.  What can Pike do against the vaunted Bulls’ D?  Can Daniels stay cool in such a big game environment?...

Headlinin': Cincinnati braces for its (briefly) Pike-less future

• Bearcats have good news and they have bad news. Cincinnati's 34-17 win at South Florida Thursday night was not only a nationally-televised road win that secures the Bearcats at the top of the Big East and furthers their incursion into the top 10 in the polls -- it was also a refutation of any notion that UC is a one-man team. Cincinnati Bearcats 34 – USF Bulls 17
