Greenberg gets presentations on Rangers

In what had to be the easiest press release ever written, Hicks Sports Groups announced that it played host to Pittsburgh attorney Chuck Greenberg today at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington as he and his group do their due diligence in their pursuit of purchasing the Rangers. Much like Houston businessman Jim Crane on Tuesday, Greenberg was given a tour and presentations from the baseball ops and business ops staffs, including team president Nolan Ryan and general manager Jon Daniels. The press release was almost identical to the one issued Tuesday, with the only difference being Greenberg substituted for Crane. If the trend holds, Greenberg will be substituted for Dennis Gilbert tomorrow.
