The cross-era pitchers ballot is now complete, and to the surprise of no one, we’ve ranked Walter Johnson as the greatest pitcher in the Hall of Merit. Johnson held the top spot on all 17 ballots. Lefty Grove edged Cy Young by one point for the #2 spot. 14 pitchers were named on at least 16 of the 17 ballots (voters ranked their top 20), showing a remarkable consensus.
