At close to 7' 5", 14-year-old Brenden Adams is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's tallest teenage boy.
And he happens to play wide receiver for his middle school team, so presumably he has the world's tallest wide receiver record nailed down as well.
But don't expect him to revolutionize the sport anytime soon, however. his genetic abnormality, caused by a chromosomal defect, has left his blood count dangerously, making it difficult for him even to get medical clearance to even play on the middle school level.
Brenden is no athlete. He has serious health problems. His body is full of tumors, his joints are enlarged and he has a recently-discovered heart arrhythmia. “I can’t run anymore,” Brenden explains. “I can’t be active like I used to.”
