Host Tulane Seeded Sixth for C-USA Women's Basketball Championship

The Tulane women's basketball team will be the sixth seed at the 2009 Conference USA Women's Basketball Champion, and open play Thursday at home as the tournament's host. Tulane (17-13 overall, 9-7 C-USA) will take on 11-seeded Tulsa at 5:30 p.m. at Fogelman Arena. Action gets underway at noon Thursday with 8-seeded East Carolina vs 9-seed UAB.
