That being said, there does appear to be an inordinate amount of injuries this season. DU goalie Marc Cheverie's injured leg seems to be more serious than originally thought and could miss the UND and DU series. I also hope Marc makes a speedy recovery. Also, Big Joe Colborne the Bruins number one draft choice just returned to the line up after suffering a broken finger. You have to wonder if someone put a hex on the DU hockey team as well.
Bad news out of today's Gopher practice... Barriball reportedly injured. Doesn't sound good... season ending?If true the guys at Goon's world hope that Jay Barriball isn't hurt too bad and will make a speedy return to the line soon for the Gophers. Also, add to the Gophers injuries Nick Leddy.
