Macho Row:
For those not up to speed on the Twitter land scape, Fridays are a time when Twitter members recommend a number of people for other users to follow. Often times you will see most users just list as many handles as they can cam into their allotted 140 characters, but I choose to go about things a little differently.During the off-season I am going to attempt to offer you various themed suggestions for Follow Friday. To get it started I offer you my official Follow Friday recommendations.
Phillies Beat Reporters
There are a number of Phillies beat reporters worth following on Twitter. While they tend to tweet the same information at about the same time it may seem a bit redundant to follow them all, but they usually each provide you with different in-game information or links to their individual stories.
To keep up to date on the Phillies it is strongly recommended that you take your pick of the following or just go ahead and follow them all! Often times when a news story breaks regarding the Phillies I will post the information here, using these Twitter feeds as linked sources.
Todd Zolecki, MLB.com - @ToddZolecki
David Murphy, Philly Daily News - @HighCheese
Andy Martino, The Philadelphia Inquirer - @phillieszone
Scott Lauber, The News Journal (Delaware) - @ScottLauber
John R. Finger, Comcast Sportsnet - @jrfinger
Mandy Housenick, The Morning Call - @inthephilshouse
Susan Lulgjuraj, Atlantic City Press - @ACPressSusan_L
Meredith Marokovits, 950 ESPN/97.5 The Phanatic - @M_Marokovits
Of course I do hope you are following Macho Row on Twitter (@Macho_Row) as well! Twitter has just created a list feature on the site recently too. I will spend some time organizing some lists on the site soon to better keep these things organized. Stay tuned for that!
