The New Mexico State men's golf sits in sixth place at the Turtle Bay College Invitational, after a first round team score of 3-over par, 291. The Aggies played the Arnold Palmer Course on day one, a par 72, 7,143 yard track. "We had an average performance today," head coach Scott Lieberwirth said. "It was a solid effort from top to bottom but we need more fire power then we got. We have to do a better job of hitting greens in regulation, giving us a chance to make birdies....
